State Building Commission Rule Change Public Notice

The Wyoming State Building Commission (SBC), through the State Construction Department, intends to make changes to Chapters 1 and 4 of the SBC Rules regarding concealed carry of firearms in public buildings as required by 2025 HB0172/HEA0024.  To provide public comment and view the propsed rules, please follow the links below, public comment period ends June 30, 2025.

The Wyoming State Building Commission (SBC) is comprised of the state's five elected officials: the Governor, who chairs the Commission, the Secretary of State, the State Auditor, the State Treasurer, and the Superintendent of Public Instruction. The Governor also appoints four members of the Wyoming Legislature to serve on the Commission in an ex-officio capacity: two from the state senate and two from the house of representatives. The State Building Commission meets quarterly in Cheyenne, unless otherwise noted.
