Facility planning is the process by which state agencies detail various ways they intend to address the replacement, repair or renovation of facilities. Construction Management plays an important role in this process.

For example, the division oversees condition assessments of all state-owned buildings to help identify those that are most in need of maintenance/modernization. This involves evaluating nearly 5 million square feet of state property.
